“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” — Romans 11:36

As the Apostle Paul closes his reflection in the Epistle to the Romans, he leaves us with a truth that brings everything full circle:
Everything is from Him.
Everything is through Him.
And everything is to Him.
At the center of it all is Jesus.
Not on the sidelines.
Not as an accessory to life.
But at the very core of everything that exists.
And when that reality sinks in, Paul responds the only way that makes sense:
“To Him be the glory forever. Amen.”
Everything Points to Jesus
The third part of this verse is beautifully simple:
All things are TO Him.
That means everything in creation ultimately points back to Jesus.
The colors of a sunset
The strength of mountains
The rhythm of ocean waves
The detail in trees, fields, and living creatures
All of it declares something about Him—His beauty, His creativity, His power, His majesty.
Creation isn’t random.
It’s directional.
It points.
And it points to Jesus.
More Than Belief—A Life Response
It’s one thing to believe that everything points to Jesus.
It’s another to live like it does.
This is where worship becomes practical.
If all things are to Him, then our lives should reflect that direction too.
Not just in church.
Not just in songs.
But in everything.
Living Unto Him
So how do we embrace this truth?
We begin to live unto Him—or simply put, for Him.
When you use your gifts and creativity—do it for Jesus
When you work your job—work for Jesus
When you study, lead, build, or serve—do it for Jesus
When you care for others—serve as if you are serving Jesus Himself
Nothing becomes meaningless when everything is directed toward Him.
Even the ordinary becomes worship when it is offered back to the One it came from.
A Life of Worship in Motion
This changes how we see our daily lives.
Worship is no longer confined to a moment—it becomes a lifestyle.
Every action becomes an offering.
Every decision becomes intentional.
Every opportunity becomes sacred.
Because it’s all for Him.
The Full Picture of Worship
When we hold all three truths together:
From Him — He is the source
Through Him — He is the sustainer
To Him — He is the purpose
We begin to understand what true worship really is.
It’s not just singing.
It’s not just gathering.
It’s not just expression.
It’s alignment.
A life aligned with the reality that everything begins, continues, and ends in Jesus.
To Him Be the Glory
When we truly believe this—and more importantly, when we live it—our response becomes the same as Paul’s:
“To Him be the glory forever. Amen.”
Not just in words.
But in how we live.
Not just occasionally.
But consistently.
A life that comes from Him, lives through Him, and is offered back to Him…
Is a life that gives Him glory.
Forever.
Amen.
